Are you searching for a purpose for your life?
Do you feel like there is something missing?
There is a plan and purpose for your life:
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
People search for God for different reasons. Some because they are suffering and they feel so lonely and with no hope, others feel their life is ok, but somehow, they find that after all the fun nights they have, alcohol, drugs, money, one night stands and so on that they come home and they feel empty. They need to get some more distraction and pleasure, or simply more of silent time to read that book, but still there is something missing.
Many try to fill this emptiness with all that the world has to offer or even throwing themselves into work, expecting to get some fulfilment. But when they return home, they realise that what they have is not enough so they start to look for love and pleasure in other things in hope that they will be fulfilled.
Through life we face struggles, heart breaking situations, bereavement, dept, sickness, broken marriages and relationships. The list seems never ending.
Maybe you are not aware yet of how important you are to God! Or that God made you in His Image, and He cares for You!
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; Genesis 1:26
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Jeremiah 1:5a
The reality is that when God created mankind, He made a God shaped hole in their hearts, that would just be able to be filled by Him. So, doesn't matter how much you look for fulfilment, there is a yearning in your heart to meet and walk with your Creator. The problem is that maybe you don't know this yet and keep trying to fill the hole with many things. Until you finally, surrender your life to God and find real love, peace, purpose and fulfilment.
The peace that God gives to you is not as the world gives!
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:26
Be still, and know that I am God; Psalm 46:10
So, the sooner you seek Him, the better!
There is a great difference between living your daily life with God and living your life without Him.
It is amazing the feeling of knowing that He is with you and dwells in you throughout your life. He is always there to help you in your troubles and to give you the strength and peace you need to overcome and be victorious in life.
The Bible says:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus / Yeshua. (Philippians 4:6.7)
With this great assurance how can you turn your back to the Only One that can help and save you?
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:16,17)
God's Arms are open to you to receive you into His Kingdom!
That is why He sent His Son Jesus/Yeshua to die for you.
The Problem Is That There Is a Separation between God and Man.
Because every human is a sinner. And God is Holy!
There is nothing that we humanly can do to reach God. Our efforts won't do it because we have sin, even if we had sinned once in our whole life, that would have been enough to separate us from Him.
The Bible Says:
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romand 3:23)
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. (Isaiah 59:2)
The first step for salvation is: Recognising that you are a sinner. You need to confess your sin to Him so you can be forgiven.
If you recognise you are a sinner you are on your way to receive His Salvation.
Next you need to realise that God made the bridge between Him and you, and that Is the Cross!
The Bible says:
"For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus/Yeshua," (1 Timothy 2:5)
"For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God," (1 Peter 3:18)
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
God has provided the only way ...
You need to decide ...
The Solution is Receiving
We must trust Jesus/Yeshua as Lord and Saviour and receive Him by personal invitation.
The Bible Says:
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." (Revelation 3:20)
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12)
" If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
Will You Receive Jesus/Yeshua Now?
Here is How You Can Receive Jesus Christ.
1. Admit you are a sinner.
2. Be willing to repent from your sins.
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the death.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus/Yeshua to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit (receive Him as Lord and Saviour).
How to Pray:
Dear Lord Jesus/Yeshua
I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins on the cross and that you resurrected from the dead. I am sorry I have sinned against You. Please forgive me. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I trust and follow You as Lord and Saviour, I want to receive the Your Holy Spirit and become a child of God.
In Jesus'/Yeshua's name. Amen.
If you prayed this prayer,
The Bible Says:
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
Did you sincerely ask Jesus/Yeshua to come into your life?
Where is He now? What has He given you?
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
"He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God." (1 John 5: 12-13)
When we receive Christ, we are born into God's family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who indwells in every believer. This is called the "new birth"
This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ. To deepen this relationship you should:
1. Read your Bible every day to know Christ/The Messiah better.
"Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105)
2. Talk to God in prayer every day
"Pray without ceasing." (Thessalonians 5:17)
In this manner, therefore, pray:
"Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
Amen." (Matthew 6:9-13)
3. Tell others about Christ/ The Messiah
Jesus / Yeshua said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." (Mark 16:15)
4. Worship, fellowship and serve with other believers in a congregation where Jesus /Yeshua is preached and the Law of God is taught.
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." (Hebrews 10:25)
5. As Jesus/Yeshua's representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others.
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." (Galatians 6:9)
